IMMEDIATE NEED for Construction Inspectors for the Delaware & Sullivan County areas.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Scale & measure distance
Check materials & perform on-site testing
Monitor procedures & promote safety policies
Coordinate project schedules
Attend regular project meetings
Prepare daily inspection reports, project diaries & field records
Perform detailed review of contract plans & specifications
Review working drawings & shop drawings
Confirm certifications
Read & understand construction plans, blueprints, and written specifications
Understand & execute detailed instructions
Prepare, read & comprehend written correspondence
Maintain tabular, narrative, graphic & electronic records
Operate desktop or laptop computer and related office software
Learn & operate specialized, proprietary software
Interact positively with construction personnel & the general public
