Consulting Engineering & Land Surveying, D.P.C. is proud to announce a
celebration of 60 years of service in providing engineering, land surveying,
and environmental services to Federal and State Agencies, as well as local
municipalities and private clients.
SCE is a certified
Woman-Owned Business Enterprise with offices in Binghamton, NY; Utica, NY;
Albany, NY; and Montrose, PA. SCE was established in 1956, as Martin & Shumaker,
and later incorporated under the current name and ownership in 1992.

P.E., President, expresses gratitude to our long-standing clients for their

Court Street Gateway Improvement Design; Route 201 Flyover; Memorial Bridge
Rehabilitation; Binghamton University’s Downtown Academic Center Design; Wilson
Hospital’s Cyberknife Facility; Knapp Road Entrance Reconstruction at the
Broome County Landfill; Vestal Rail Trail Design; Deposit Front Street
Reconstruction; Sullivan County
Jail Design; University at Albany Pedestrian and Traffic Plan; Susquehanna
County (PA) Floodplain Administrator; design of multiple segments for
converting Route 17 to I-86, and improvements at numerous airports throughout
New York State.
A high
profile project Shumaker is currently working on is the NYSDOT NY Route 434
Greenway.
