The 2015 Diamond Award Gala was recently held by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), of New York. As a member of the project team SCE provided Survey, Right of Way and environmental services for this project.  The project was a locally administered federal aid project (LAFAP) which involved rehabilitation of a historic steel truss bridge over Fall Creek in the Town of Ithaca. SCE was responsible for the preparation of Chapter IV of the Design Report and obtaining necessary USACE and NYSDEC permits. SCE environmental staff provided oversight of all environmental screenings, including surface waters, asbestos, and hazardous waste. SCE also provided survey and ROW mapping services for this bridge rehabilitation project. The survey area involved the limits along Forest Home Drive of approximately 150ft and 100ft up each branch of the Forest Home Drive and Caldwell Road Intersection.
